This product is a Christmas present & will not be used until December. This product only came with a three month warrenty. Now once my child tries it for Christmas if it's broken there's nothing I can do. If I had know I wouldn't have been able to purchase an additional warrenty I wouldn't have brought the scooter.

It maybe a little bumpy but goes the perfect speed for me. I don't care that it charges for 6 hr. I just like riding it and it's good for going down to a friends house on your street or going down the road. for ex: Esternay ln in Pittsford, NY

This scooter works well and has great acceleration, but the tires wear quickly. The handlebar could be longer for taller kids. Assembly was easy, charging is no problem. After 3+ months of use, the scooter is still going strong. We would buy again.
Don't waste your money May 16, 2008
Do not waste your money on this scooter. The rear tire is so soft that after 1 day and 1 charge, the tire is already worn and squared off.
Now it shakes all the time. It's a bummer for your kids. Spend the money on a Razor. Complete JUNK. Rear Tire is defective, front tire is defective. Warranty Stinks!!! Company will NOT respond to you. Made it to the garbage after 2 weeks! JUNK, JUNK, JUNK>

I do quite a bit of buying on Amazon and this is the first time I felt I needed to add a review to protect other buyers. Spend the extra 20$ and get a razor electric scooter which is a much higher quality scooter. The wheels for the Izip could not be of a lower quality. Everytime my son stops, if there is any skidding motion at all a portion of the rear wheel is rubbed away. After one day the scooter wheel has flat sections and makes a terrible rattling noise (because of his partially squared wheel). I was very disappointed.
