WOW! a True View Mirror October 1, 2008 By Ernie Wireman, I Been looking for a true view mirror to mount on left handlebar end that stays put and can be set to see past the left arm. I moved the shifter and brake in a little, cut a little off the grip. This baby is it mounted on end with my bright red flasher. Bike WorldUSA also cares enough to give a very good discription plus they get it to you quick. I care not for the convex mirrors, a larger true view mirror close as possible is the better answer. I use it on a motor bike I made up. Ernie Wireman
Such a great safety enhancement to our tandem bicycle :) August 29, 2008 As the backseat driver on our tandem bike, it's one of my few jobs (the other is peddling ;) to listen for cars and provide direction as to when to cross, when we're about to be passed from behind by other cyclists, etc.
This mirror provides a great, great view behind us & has really enhanced our sense of safety on the roads and trails. I'm very pleased with the product and its performance.
When you mount it on our handlebars, use some electrical tape (or similar grip enhancer) so that the metal loop around the handlebar stays more securely -- as you can imagine, a bike is a bit bouncy which is hard on that connection.
Bon Appetit!
Nice big mirror!! July 8, 2008 This is the coolest mirror with only a few draw back. Before I start cutting it down I've got to say I love this mirror as far as mirrors go! The only draw backs are there could've been a small piece of rubber included and the arm could be a tad longer IMHO. Can't wait to order more of them (I'm planning on 5 more)!
