the scooter showed up in perfect condition, had a little trouble putting it together but nothing serious, have now had it for about a month and no problems at all with it, we ride it all the time, i even ride it to work which is 6 1/2 mile each way so 13 miles on a charge and its still going when i get home and put it on the charger
great product thanks

2 out of 5 stars Ok but.....   September 2, 2010

Ok, it's fun, I think it's dorky and cool at the same time, but it can't take me up a hill. I weigh 150 and it can't do it, I have to put my legs down and run like Fred Flintstone. It malfunctions quite a bit, and it holds a charge like it's running on triple a's. Love how it looks, but I'm buying a ruckus tomorrow.

I purchased 3 of these scooters 2 years ago. They were buy 2 get 1 free. I sold the third to help pay for the 2. Anyway, I have had them now for two years. We are seasonal campers at a large campground. My daughter rides them regularly with her friends, as do I. I have had very little problems outside of routine maintenance with them. Overall, they were a very good purchase and we look forward to getting to camp and jumping on them. You do need to perform maintenance on them however. They are machines and need to be treated as such. To the people with speed problems, check your chain, shouldnt be too tight. Oil your axles. Clean them regularly. Use common sense and they will last you for awhile. Like I said, two years running, hard use, and I am looking forward to the weekend to ride them. Good luck!

1 out of 5 stars Why is this sham on Amazon?   June 30, 2010

Anyone reading the reviews can see this product is a cruel, expensive trick. Why does Amazon continue to carry it? There must be those who buy without reading the reviews. Just to make this product available on Amazon is to diminish Amazon's credibility.

2 out of 5 stars Disappointed   June 25, 2010

If you are over 170 pounds don't bother buying this scooter unless you live in a flat area. This scooter will not make it up a 40 degree hill. I purchased this scooter to get the mail and ride around the nieghborhood it's fine for that. This scooter has a rage of 15 miles so I wanted to take it to Albertsons and it made it 50 feet and it was a very slow 50 feet up the 40 degree incline. It is a long incline but the scooter bogged down pretty fast.

Also the ride is NOT good, it's very bouncy maybe because of the spring loaded seat. My wife tried it and she had no problem with speed or hills she is only 135 pounds so she is way less than the 250 weight limit...

Overall I give this scooter a rating of 2. The fit and finish is not great, and the instructions leave something to be desired. Not clear at all. I have a full Craftsman roll away toolbox with tools that rival any auto dealership mechanic so I'm pretty good with mechanics.

I also Autocross race my 2000 Miata and did most of the upgrades on it and putting this Scooter together had me scratching my head at 3 different areas, the front tire assembly, no direction on how the forks go, only a picture and you can't see how the forks go as there is a small spacer and I had to figure out for myself on what side the spacer should be. That's not good, the regular Joe or Jane will NOT know how this works, then they tell you you have to install a fuse before use and they give you like 5 fuses and they don't show if you need to install 1 or several. It turned out I did NOT have to install any fuses, found that out after tracing the entire wire harness to find that ALL necessary fuses were installed.

The scooter is NEW so it's not like someone put it together returned it and I got it. All packaging was new. Then there was the fender rack. When I tried to push the rods through the fender holes with rubber washers, the rubber washers decinegrated into many pieces. The rubber is dry rotted so the scooter has been sitting for a long time. Also, no instructions on how to install the rack and trunk.

Lastly, I noticed a smear in the clear plastic that covers the dash so I took it Part to clean it and it was a defect in the plastic so I can barley see the lights in the dash.

A LOT of problems for a scooter that costs over $300.00. I am disabled and need it to get the mail and it's good for that so I will be keeping mine.

I hope this review helps you make an educated decision before you buy...
